The Election May Be Over But We Still Have Work To Do |
We are still open! Rumors have been going around that we may have closed due to the election being over…that is the furthest from the truth! We just cleaned up the HQ from the election run but we still have work to do. We are open on Tuesdays and Saturdays 10am-2pm and on Thursdays 3pm-7pm; these hours are posted on our website as well: jcgop.org. We will also continue to have our monthly meetings which provides everyone an opportunity to hear from our elected officials from time to time, stay informed with what is going on locally, at the state level, and nationally, what we need to do for upcoming board positions and elections, and various other things that may come up in the year. We had a great Red Wave and want to keep that momentum going! With that being said, we do know that the election is over and normally the odd years are “rest years,” however, we want to use this time for training and educating our fellow patriots. Ideas that have been suggested to us are: movie nights (some educational, some for fun and families), having a prayer breakfast, community involvement with an organization that follows the core of our beliefs (i.e. Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center), among other things. So, stay tuned for these events to be posted! |

We will also transition our newsletter a little bit to provide you some tools to better present our platform, values, and beliefs to those who may not fully understand us. These segments may also have content that is designed to promote critical thinking and may not give a final answer on the subject. In some cases, we may discuss an area that you, as an individual, may not agree with (i.e. should politics be discussed in church.), but the purpose is to open discussion and promote critical thinking. |

Annual Jackson County GOP Convention, March 2025 |
Every year in March, the Jackson County Republican Party has its county convention. This year we will also have the opportunity to elect our county party officers (they serve for a 2 year term). The positions one can vote for are Chair, Vice-Chair, Second Vice-Chair (contingent upon updated Plan of Organization), Treasurer, and Secretary. If you would like to run for one of these positions or nominate someone to run, please reply back to this email by January 1, 2025. We would like all nominees to be present at our January JCGOP Monthly Meeting (01/16/25) to provide the party members an opportunity to hear your vision and reason for running. |
